Ascent Solutions Earns Data Protection Trustmark

We are proud to announce that we have recently achieved the Data Protection Trustmark certification by the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA). The Data Protection Trustmark (DPTM) is an initiative by the IMDA to help organisations demonstrate their compliance with data protection best practices and standards. This certification is a testament to our unwavering commitment to safeguarding the privacy of our customers’ data.

The DPTM is a voluntary certification for organisations to demonstrate their competencies and accountability in managing personal data. It is designed to help build trust and confidence in businesses that handle personal data, especially in today’s digital age where data breaches and cyber attacks are becoming increasingly common.

We understand that our customers rely on us to keep their data secure. That’s why together with our other certifications, including the most recent CSA Cybersecurity Certification, we have always made it a top priority to implement robust data protection measures, including regular security assessments and compliance with relevant data protection regulations. The Data Protection Trustmark certification is just one more step that we are taking to provide our customers with peace of mind and reassurance that their data is in safe hands.

We are always looking for ways to beef up our customers’ data protection, and we are continuously reviewing our data protection policies and practices to ensure that we stay ahead of the curve. Achieving the Data Protection Trustmark certification is a significant milestone for us, and we will continue to strive for excellence in all aspects of data protection and cybersecurity.

Driver Behaviour Monitoring

Driver Behaviour is able to help businesses understand how their drivers and fleet are performing in relation to good or bad driving behaviours. It is able to capture parameters such as :

  • Harsh cornering
  • Harsh braking
  • Sudden acceleration
  • Sudden deceleration

The iSPOT® FMS is able to provide a driver behaviour dashboard that provides driver ranking, overview of where events were captured and provide the ability to add penalties or rewards to encourage good driving behaviour. By actively addressing these behaviours through real data, businesses can also reduce costs associated with maintenance and fuel as bad driving behaviours often lead to an increase in both.
