Description

The iSPOT® iScout is a military grade security tracking device that can be deployed to track containers, trucks, tankers and other lockable conveyances. It is suitable for rough use in outdoor conditions and is MIL-STD-810F compliant against shock and vibration. Using GPS tracking, the iSPOT® iScout is able to send real time location updates and tamper alerts via a 3G network. It comes with a variable length stainless steel security cable and a mechanical bolt seal for additional security. Any unauthorised opening or tampering of the security cable will result in a tamper. Furthermore, it can be used to provide monitoring for the iSPOT® iSensor and iSPOT® Temp in tanker and cold chain configurations. The iSPOT® iScout is a patented device under Ascent Solutions.

The iSPOT® Electronic Cargo Tracking System (ECTS) has been designed to meet the highest standards of security for cargo. Widely used by customs and revenue authorities of the world, it is built to meet their stringent requirements for bonded and transit cargo tracking. The iSPOT® ECTS has a trip based concept which offers customers visibility of individual trips as they progress together with real time tamper alerts that can be received in both email and platform. The central dashboard allows for an eye in the sky control centre concept to be possible whereby manpower can be concentrated on monitoring for maximum effect. It is configurable in nature whereby customers are able to define automatic start based on geofence or manual start for added security. The iSPOT® ECTS is available on demand through a secure web application and on premise options are also available on a project basis.

The iSPOT® ECTS is also API ready and can support integration to existing customer systems for interoperability.

Description

The iSPOT® iSensor is capable of being deployed in multiples on conveyances such as tankers with many valves and hatches. Using a single iSPOT® iScout or iSPOT® In-Vehicle Management (IVM) unit, multiple iSPOT® iSensors can be monitored simultaneously to detect unauthorised opening resulting in a tamper within a 200m range. It is suitable for rough outdoor usage and is MIL-STF-810F compliant for shock and vibration. Accessories include a variable length stainless steel security cable and a mechanical bolt seal for additional security. The iSPOT® iScout can be used in hazardous environments for wet cargo.

Description

The iSPOT® IVM is a robust GPS vehicle tracking device that can be installed into passenger vehicles and heavy trucks. It is suitable for older heavy truck models as it has surge protection and an optional fuse line to protect it further. The device offers customers real time tracking with a basic fleet management platform. The real power of the device comes from the ability to also offer security tracking as it works with the iSPOT® iSensor. Trucks installed with the iSPOT IVM will now be able to use the iSPOT® iSensor to lock and secure the cargo in container, tanker and truck form easily. With one set of hardware customers can get both their fleet management and security tracking needs satisfied.

The iSPOT® IVM is also able to accommodate a satellite failover function together with an Inmarsat satellite device. This allows customers to never miss a report or tamper due to black spots, jamming or remote locations such as out on sea.

The iSPOT® Fleet Management System provides basic fleet tracking functionality for customers to track their vehicles. Customers are able to view the historical tracking of fleet and generate reports. Parameters such as speed, mileage and heading will be captured for fleet managers to review.

Description

The Soter Smart Security Tape is a patented one-time use tape that can be used to secure containers, trucks and other closed conveyances. When applied, the Soter tape will cure and adhere to the surface to produce a visible tamper evident mark on the tape and the surface itself. In addition, any removal of the SOTER tape will render it electronically unreadable which will be a further indication of tamper. Description

The ATLAS® ULock is an electronic seal that is suitable for securing the chain of custody in a supply chain. Its compact size and long battery life of up to 3 years makes it viable for the locking of small to medium trucks, boxes and other lockable conveyances that don’t require real time security tracking. The ATLAS® ULock is well suited for milestone tracking whereby the integrity of the chain of custody can be verified electronically and visually. The ATLAS® ULock has 3 locking mechanisms, namely the stainless steel cable for physical security, the serialised mechanical seal for visual security and the electronic arming mechanism for electronic security.  With its easy readability using a smart phone (Android) that has Bluetooth 4.1, any person in the supply chain can provide monitoring for the ATLAS® ULock.

Platform

The ATLAS® ULock platform provides a chain of custody workflow that allows users to create trips and conveyances that are to be secured. Using the ATLAS® ULock mobile app, the ATLAS® ULock can be assigned to trips to be locked on the conveyances and armed. Thereafter, inspection, transfer of custody and/or delivery in the supply chain can be performed using the mobile app with a Bluetooth 4.1 smart phone (Android). All transactions and events is visible on the web platform to track the chain of custody. In the event of a tamper, this would be detected at the next scan and an exception procedure can be initiated to investigate further using the ATLAS® ULock platform as a guide.
